Meet the Wayfinder Team

Creating meaningful learning experiences for Wayfinder families

I am a homeschool educator, leader, and mother of five with a passion for helping children and families thrive both academically and personally. From 2003 to 2014, I served at a distance learning academy as a Curriculum Manager and Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Operations, where I supported curriculum development, academic structure, and daily operations. I have led mission teams locally and internationally, working with children through Bible programs, mentorship, and outreach efforts. I’ve also led summer theme days and after-school programs and coached volleyball for two
schools, investing in students in both structured and relational settings. In addition, I helped launch Renu, a missional thrift store and co-founded a photography business that has served families for over 13 years. These experiences have shaped my heart for education and my approach to a hybrid homeschool model - one that partners with families, provides structure and support, and creates an environment where students can grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

I bring a creative and relational perspective to education, shaped by my background in design and my experience as a homeschooling mother. I hold degrees in Civil Engineering/Architectural Design and Interior Design, and spent five years as an interior designer developing a passion for creating thoughtful, intentional environments. My journey into homeschooling began out of a desire to find something better for my children. What started as a difficult decision quickly became meaningful as I saw our relationships deepen and discovered the joy of learning alongside them. I value a slower, more intentional rhythm that allows space for both growth and connection. As a mom, I understand the beauty and challenges families face and value flexibility within structure creating systems that support consistency while allowing for individual needs. In addition to education, I co-founded a photography business
and serve alongside my husband in ministry as a pastor’s wife, leading youth and participating in mission work. Together, we also founded Renu, a missional thrift store focused on outreach and meeting practical needs in our community. I am passionate about creating a space where students feel
known, supported, and free to grow academically, personally, and spiritually.
